DISTRICT EVENTS...The Heartland District sponsors educational opportunities ranging from cluster workshops, which offer one-topic trainings that are repeated in different locations on different dates throughout the district; to one-day workshops; to webinars that can be attended in the comfort of your home or with a group at church as long as you have a high-speed Internet connection; to the district assembly. As event details are finalized, they will be announced in the district newsletter, by email communications, and on this website on the District Calendar.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION TRAININGS...The purpose of the Heartland District and the district Lifespan Religious Education Committee (LREC) is to support and assist district churches and their professional and volunteer religious educators in providing high quality religious education programs for children, youth, and adults. Each year, the LREC provides a variety of opportunities to accomplish this purpose through Our Whole Lives (OWL) and Renaissance Modules trainings.

YOUTH CONS...sponsored by the Heartland District Youth Steering Committee (DYSC) are meant to be fun, while learning and practicing our Unitarian Universalist principles. When offering a youth conference in the Heartland District we are mindful of the safety and well-being of our youth above all else. Thus, additional information is required with each registration: Conference Permission & Supervision and Emergency Contact Information. WEBINARS...Sponsored by MidWest UU Leadership represented by the MidAmerica Region districts of Central Midwest, Heartland and Prairie Star
